Roof Moisture Surveys

 

Moisture surveys help identify concealed wet insulation and support smarter repair and replacement decisions.

CRC provides non-destructive roof moisture surveys for commercial roofing systems using infrared thermography and electrical impedance scanning, depending on the roof system, project goals, and site conditions.

Moisture trapped within a roof system is not always visible from the surface, but it can significantly affect performance, repairability, and replacement scope. Moisture surveys help owners and project teams better understand the extent and location of potential wet materials before major decisions are made.

Infrared Thermography
Infrared scanning can help identify thermal patterns consistent with moisture within the roof assembly when conditions are suitable. CRC provides Drone and Rooftop Infrared Scanning services with minimum Level 1 Certified Thermographers to conduct and interpret your survey.

Electrical Impedance Scanning
Electrical impedance testing can help locate probable wet insulation in compatible low-slope roof systems and can be especially useful where infrared conditions are limited or where additional confirmation is needed.
